In 2017 we acquired a 15th century longère and fully restored it back to is original beauty, ensuring to make adjustments to provide the most up to date facilities expected of a superb Bed and Breakfast.

Each room has been carefully designed to provide our guests with beautiful furnishings and modern comforts. All rooms have private entrances along with private bathrooms which are very modern and spacious.

In 2023 we commenced the installation of a beautiful 15 metre by 4 metre heated salt water swimming pool with a large terrace, it is situated in a cozy and private position between the house and sunflower field offering endless tranquility.

We chose this location for its beautiful surroundings, large gardens and ability to provide spacious rooms ensuring our guest privacy and comfort.

  2. We’ve just found the best and ideal bed and breakfast!
We’ve been travelling from Scotland to the South West of France for fifty years and always stop half way down before we get to our family home in the Tarn Valley.
Sans Souci is indeed special in every way: The minute we went through the open gate and parked in the gorgeous grounds James was here to greet us with charm and kindness and proceeded to carry our luggage into his beautiful home. After finalising our dinner choices James took us our our delightful bedroom – just through the door we relaxed on the lavender surrounded terrace listening to bird song and feeling the happiness of this magic place.
Matthew served his delicious and beautifully presented three course dinner. James’s wine recommendations were perfect. We loved Matthew home-made bread too!
After a wonderful peaceful night came breakfast: another great experience – hot French pancakes with orange curd and Chantilly cream, bacon and egg, fine yoghurt and fruit pots, croissant and pain au chocolat, fresh bread and baguette, home-made jams and local honey…
We loved everything about Sans Souci , the house is decorated with great attention to detail and refined taste and at the same time is a real Home with family paintings, tapestries, bibelots and fine china tableware.
Thank you James and Matthew for your beautiful warm welcome and solicitude, we look forward to see you in a few weeks on our way up back to Scotland!
    Kindest regards.
    Maryse et Peter.
